Gapless playback would be nice if you've put together a mix using Mixmeister or similar software (as I have) - I realise this isn't really feasible with a streaming service like this so what about being able to upload less than eight tracks - i.e. one track-at-once? Or is this beyond what 8tracks was set up to do?

A little minimal history bar above the player of previous mixtapes visited/listened would be nice. Sometimes you want to go back to the previous more favorable mixtape but don't want to fight with the back button on the browser.

Even if we can't keep the same order as sequenced by the dj, it would be nice to have a cross fade facility to blend tracks together with a setable duration(like on Microsoft Media Player) to keep that 'radio' feel.

"Liked" mixes implies you have listened to that mix and want to hear it again.

There should be a way to have a "to listen to" list. - ie mixes that you haven't heard but will check out in the future. I realised I could do this in my browser or delicious etc, but it would be nice to integrate into the site...

I have an iPad and I would love to listen to 8tracks on the go!

When I search for an artist to include in my mix, I am often curious to know who else used the track(s) uploaded, and what kind of music they thought the track(s) matched with.

Help users discover other mixes and DJs with intelligent recommendations. Maybe there is someway to integrate with the intelligence of Last.fm to do this kind of thing. Maybe there is an easier way to match up users based on history and starring patterns. Would definitely drive usage of the site.

Why not pop out the player? A small option maybe like "pop me out" and then instantly 8tracks transforms into the coolest little internet radio gadget on the planet :)

So you don't have to care about your Music every half an hour.

Allow users to create a queue of mixes they would like to listen to, and have the next mix play when one finishes, instead of going to a random one (unless the queue is empty).

A lot of times I will get a good idea for a mix, but only know 2 - 3 songs that would fit. Not sure if it would be feasible, but it would be cool to have a section for these incomplete mixes that others can add tracks to. Adding tracks could be limited to just the user, just the people the user is following, or everyone.

With every mix i like my collection of "liked mixes" is getting bigger and bigger. For me it´d be positive if I could categorize my "liked mixes", to organize them.

It should be able to create some kind of "folders" like (my party mixes, study mixes, summer mixes, ...you know what I mean) and then i could drag and drop my "liked mixes" into these categories.

With that feature I`d have a well organized collection of mixes.

Work with Sonos to allow 8tracks to be a Music Service in Sonos.

Love the idea of ready made playlists, instead of individual songs like one would find on other sites. Much rather listen to 8Tracks!

It would be cool if we could leave a personal comment for each song in the mix, like "best bassline of all time" or "this song changed my life when I was 15."

I want to know who listened, referrers, flag icon of the country they came from (and if they are an 8tracks listener, a link to the their userid).

Ability to add negative tags to your current filtering criteria.

E.g. I am searching for "dubstep", "electro", and want to exclude all mixes tagged "indie".

Taking this a step further, allow the OR operator, so I could search for "trip hop" OR "trip-hop"
