  using the 8tracks for iPhone has been a bit cludgy but worked fine, until the other day when an update was released. Suddenly it's super buggy - sometimes the touch doesn't work, other times you hit pause and it flickers to pause but keeps playing etc. What happened? I hope to at least keeping the iPhone version running on here until you get an iPad specific one running!

  I love what Artkraft designed - something like that would be really great. But as I said months ago, a first release could just be the iPhone app released in resolution for the iPad so it looks clean. additional features could be added later. Even my stability comment isn't valid any more - recent versions of the iPhone app (which I run daily on my iPad) have been perfectly stable. It works fine, it just looks like crap.

  That's great news! I was considering buying an i-pad, but I love my 8tracks so thought I may have to go to computer notebook again. I think I'm ready for the convenience of an i-pad, but I still want to listen to my music,......your music!

  I hope that something comes out soon. I have been using my iPad as a duke box and 8tracks has been perfect for it! If only it wasn't so clunky with the iPhone app (having to rotate it back to portrait and the low res layout)

  how should it differ? none at all - just take the iphone app and package it for the iPad and I'd be happy with it. Screen rotation would be a nice addition (since i nearly always use my iPad in landscape), but minor - packaging it for iPad should make it higher resolution and more stable which are pretty much the only things iPad users that are currently using the iPhone version are asking for.

  Sander nailed it. I only want a full iPad resolution app and the keyboard + Auto Rotate. Not asking for a huge update

  Displaying your favorites list would also be a nice addition. It bugs me having to log into the site to view my favorite songs.
