  Kennedy below makes some good points about 8tracks appeal. Soulkor's solution is a good work around the current set up if it's allowed? Fade/in out function might be ok but it doesn't really meet needs and variety of mixes some of us like to make (agree with Soulkor here). How about if we can choose option for mixed playlist when creating a new mix. We would then have to upload all the original tracks as well as the mixed playlist so 8tracks can check the number of songs per mix. On playback 8tracks keeps a track of the time played and only allows two skips every hour for mixed playlists?

  Just make the first 7 tracks be like 1sec "mockups", hereby giving away the track titles and then upload a the actual mix as a compiled mp3 as the 8. track, with the title of the last track on the mix... dunno if the staff would like that..... but done properly the royalty payments and limited track-skipping would work the same and the problems attention-span deficiency would still be combated.

  I semi-agree with this idea. Seamlessly integrating the tracks would be nice but the fact that 8tracks does not allow for gapless playback differentiates it from mix.dj. I would be in favor of a simple cross fade but not full beat mixing capabilities which would compromise 8tracks' uniqueness.
