  This would be annoying. We need to be able to organize our current "liked" playlists. Also, it would be great to sort popularity of mixes by a dj we select.

  Everyone seems to like the idea of using the Last.fm API. I am a huge fan of Last.fm and I agree with everyone on this. In addition I think that DJs and users should be able to also recommend a DJ or mix. Say you have listened to three mixes from a certain DJ, maybe you want to recommend a similar DJ to everyone who stumbles onto that DJ or a recommend a certain mix after listen to one mix. Having user generated recommendations in addition to a algorithm would make the experience so much better I believe.

  8tracks could really do with a nice recommendation system. (for instance with a Suggestion algorithm) This has become imho a necessity since the feature where a mix was automatically selected after the current playing mix has been abandoned.

  Maybe I am just spoiled by other technology, but I hate when a mix I am listening to ends, and 8tracks selects another mix and it is something really unappealing like a screamo or hard rock mix. I love to discover new music, but I know what genres I like and don't like! :)

  I've only recently begun using 8tracks, but have already discovered loads of new great music. I love the site for this!

  Increasing the possibility of finding mixes with music that matches your taste would rock!

  When thinking about what mix to recommend next, it would be great if you could have a settings section in the user account section of 8tracks, where a user could specify preference for prioritizing mix recommendations by DJ, artist, or song connections. That way, you'd enable listeners to experiment with different exploration methods. Thanks.

  Love this idea, and we're looking to add recommendations, possibly leveraging the Last.fm APIs, in the months ahead.

  We def need to provide better ways to help listeners find relevant mixes, and we'll be rolling out genre tags shortly.
