allow user to delete their uploaded songs
I understand that perhaps you haven't included this option because other users are allowed to use songs that one uploads. However, a user should still be able to delete songs they have uploaded. Perhaps they accidentally uploaded a poor version of a song, or maybe they just decided don't want the song available to anybody else anymore (especially if it's an original recording), or maybe they want to quit using your site altogether and delete all of their mixes. If you wanted to dissuade them from deleting a song, perhaps you could offer a warning if the song is in somebody else's mix. But the option to delete a song should still be available to the user who was the original uploader; it's only fair.
We’ll add this feature soon. For now, any songs that are not in use will be automatically deleted after a couple of weeks.

Still no progress with the delete-playlist-option I see.. How stupid... Never saw something strange like this before 'o0..

If not delete, how about a track UPDATE feature? So you could replace the inferior or perhaps improperly gained mp3 with the better one?

You should also add a way to delete unfinished playlists

This is definitely a great idea. I have songs I no longer plan on using that I wish were gone altogether.

what is the status of being able to delete your own uploads as of today (May 28 2012)? Additionally, after reading through comments, it is unclear whether others can or cannot use use someone's uploaded tracks to make mixes.

Why did it take 3 years to respond to this question?

Has this feature been added yet? How can I delete my duplicate uploads?

yes, I have duplicate songs and have edited my playlist but am unable to delete the songs I do not want anymore. You should include a delete option or "remove from playlist" option.

I can not agree more! Even though I just began, songs have downloaded twice and two of the downloads didn't even play and they take up space!

Other users cannot use your tracks to make mixes.

@transce, maybe just delete the song from your own profile and not from the entire site?
Although making a song "public" is also a good idea.

No because if another user uses your song in their mix, now their mix is broken if you remove that song. Instead, you should have a checkbox to make a song non-public when you upload it. Once uploaded as public, you may only remove it if it wasn't been used in another mix yet.

If the user doesn't play one of the songs, will it get deleted? I accidentally uploaded the same song twice (this was the very first song I uploaded) and it didn't say that I uploaded it twice until I was ready to publish it.

So since I can't delete the songs that I added because I was REALLY EXCITED about this new site I found and wanted to upload all my favorite songs...I'm going to delete my account. Someone let me know when this site is more user friendly, seriously...

I totally agree. Original music by an artist should be able to be protected.

I like this Idea, but with many of my tracks I'll see if they are already uploaded and use that track or post a track I liked from another mix. Will those stay if the original up-loader deletes the track?

@sizzy_one We generally keep a DJ's original file anyway, as this gives us greater flexibility from a legal standpoint, as a DJ can access his own files with fewer restrictions.

If you do this, can you keep the file in your cloud and just remove it from the user's profile? Otherwise there's not point to not uploading your own tunes and your storage requirements will be hideous. Of course if you opt for EMC Atmos then go for it!
