Allow more control over the player.
You can skip to the next track but it would be nice to skip to the previous one too.
It would also be helpful if you could click on the time line of the playing track to jump to that point, effectively a fast forward or rewind.
We'd love to be able to do that, but this would make our service "interactive" as defined by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the law that established the radio-style license under which we operate).
If we were to do deals with record labels for "on-demand" streaming, we could offer this functionality. However, these royalty rates are too expensive to be supported by advertising.
