shorter url alternative completed
mixurls depending on mixtitles, thats sometimes very long and urls are sometimes broken if paste them in e-mail clients. what about a shorter url as alternative? (maybe just the mixID after username 8tracks.com/username/678543 ?!

Let users/accounts have more than one associated mixtape
You can have as many mixes as you'd like; there is no limit.

Bug: Site links going to odd places completed
The home link from the 8tracks logo goes to /search
The terms link in the page footer goes to /embed

change mix photo completed
please allow changing of mix image
You can already do this. On the mix page, you need to click "Description" right below the mix art. You can only see this link if you are the author of the mix so if it's not there, you probably need to log in. Cheers.

Show "no results" completed
When a search returns zero results, show some kind of message so that I know it worked. As it is now it seems like search is broken.

You can now embed a Flash player for your mix on Myspace. Go to the Share tab on any mixpage to get the code.

Bug: Missing metadata in some uploaded tracks completed
When uploading my first set of mp3s, one showed no data in the list after the upload of that file had completed -- just a single blank row with the close "x" at the end. The blank row could be selected and reordered in the list.
I tried reuploading the file with the same result. The mix could still be saved, and the track *does* play in the mix, albeit with the track/artist name of "[object Object] [objectObject]". This song doesn't show up in my list of uploaded tracks, so I can't go back and edit it.
The same thing happened with one file in another set of uploads. That set didn't get saved as a mix, so I have no access to that file at all.
All tracks are from my CDs ripped into iTunes, so format and tagging version should be fairly consistent. I have the two tracks that caused the problems if you need to take a look under the hood.
Thanks for pointing this out. We've fixed this in our stage version of the site (pushing tomorrow night) so that any tracks with missing ID3 tags includes an appropriate note (e.g. "[Track name missing]"), with an edit link close at hand to enter correct info.
Can you possibly send me the 2 tracks that had an issue? I'd like to see if the ID3 tags were blank and, if not, try to determine what the problem may be.
